The Supreme Court Rule Committee made the following rules of court under the
Supreme Court Act 1970 on 17 May 2004.

Explanatory note
The object of these Rules is to amend the Supreme Court (Corporations) Rules 1999 to
correct amendments previously made to rules 5.6 and 5.10 so as to make those
provisions uniform with the rules of court of the Federal Court and the Supreme Courts
of the other States and Territories.
1 Name of Rules
These Rules are the Supreme Court (Corporations) Amendment
(No 4) Rules 2004.
2 Amendment of Supreme Court (Corporations) Rules 1999
The Supreme Court (Corporations) Rules 1999 are amended as set
out in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1 Amendments
(Rule 2)
[1] Rule 5.6
Omit rule 5.6 (2) (b). Insert instead:
(b) published in accordance with rule 2.11:
(i) at least 3 days after the originating process is
served on the company, and
(ii) at least 7 days before the date fixed for hearing of
the application.
[2] Rule 5.10
Omit rule 5.10 (2) (b). Insert instead:
(b) published:
(i) in accordance with rule 2.11 at least 7 days before
the date fixed for the hearing of the application,
or
(ii) as otherwise directed by the Court.
